Tremosine's municipal territory

Tremosine's municipal territory encompasses an area of some 70 square kilometres in the Upper Garda Park in the province of Brescia, on the western shores of Lake Garda.

Sheer cliffs rise from the lake and open out to an expanse of high ground with hills, peaks and deep gullies. This vast plateau is protected by mountains marking Tremosine's boundaries with, to the west, the municipal territories of Tignale and Valvestino, and, to the north, the Trentino-Alto Adige region and the municipal territory of Limone.

Tremosine is made up of eighteen tiny communities with a current total population of 1930. The little villages are situated at altitudes of between 400 and 600 metres above sea level, apart from Campione which is next to the lake.
